Prime Minister Narendra Modi has thanked global leaders for extending their support to India's G-20 Presidency.
India commenced the presidency of G-20, which it took over from Indonesia last month, on 1 December.

In response to a congratulatory tweet by Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, PM Modi said, "Your solidarity is vital. Japan has contributed a lot to global well-being and I am confident the world will continue to learn from Japan’s successes on various fronts".
PM Modi also thanked US president Joe Biden for his support to India's G-20 Presidency.
Responding to a tweet by US president, Prime Minister Modi tweeted,"Your valued support will be a source of strength for India’s G-20 Presidency. It is important we all work together to build a better planet".

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
