The Prime Minister just concluded an address in which he praised the importance of local brands and local businesses in the context of the Coronavirus pandemic. He exhorted Indians to back local companies and brands relentlessly. "Local se global", he said.
Every big "global" brand that exists today was once a "local" brand. They simply grew big in time and with great effort. We should all back Indian brands, the PM said.
Swarajya steps up to this challenge.
We want to grow incredibly large - big enough to battle the likes of New York Times, the Washington Post and others who relentlessly push views that are mostly against the Indian interest.
The NYT and WaPo were once local brands, small ones that grew because their readers backed them. Now, if you help us we will also get big and global. It really is up to you.
Back us for as little as Rs 99/month or Rs 999/year - start the process of building a #AatanirbharBharat with this small effort. Jai Hind!

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
