Of Dogs, Deaths And Slaughterhouses In UP
Earlier this week a set of media houses went to town gently suggesting that 14 children have been mauled to death by stray dogs because of Uttar Pradesh government's crackdown on slaughterhouses.
According to them stray dogs which once fed on animal flesh at illegal slaughter houses may now be hunting humans for food.
Swarajya also covered the issue. You can read our report at this link.
Swarajya spoke to some experts on the topic, some of them who had earlier been quoted by other media to buttress their claims. Our report is a careful compilation of facts.
This report, on the other hand, produced by a famous media house is more opinion than fact, more of own views than useful information.
Swarajya is a small media start-up, the other one is a behemoth proficient at the most subtle form of wordsmithery. As you can see we're not in the business of hit-jobs and have just done the right thing here.
