The Indian Air Force's Su-30 MKIs are set to fly to Greece to take part in Iniochos 2023 multinational air exercise to be held at Hellenic Air Force's Andravida Air Base.
The exercise will be held between 24 April and 4 May and will see participation from Air Forces of various North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) countries, including the United States, France, Italy, Spain, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
The Indian Air Force will take part with four Su-30 MKIs and two C-17s Heavy Transport Aircrafts.
As per a press brief released by the Helenic Air Force, the Special Operations and Naval elements will also take part in the exercise to create complex and realistic scenarios across the exercise area which will be spread over the Greek mainland and sea.
Additionally, the Indian Air Force has also sent its French made Rafale fighter jets to France to take part in an another multinational air exercise, Orion 2023.
Moreover, the Indian Air Force is also training since 10 April, with the United States Air Force (USAF) at Kalaikunda, Arjan Singh (Panagarh) and Agra air force base. The USAF is taking part with the F-15 Strike Eagle fighter jet, B-1B bomber and MC-130J aircraft.
