1984 Anti-Sikh Riot Accused Jagdish Tytler Attends Congress’ ‘Symbolic Protest’ Led By Priyanka Vadra

Senior Congress leader Jagdish Tytler one of the main accused in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots attended the “symbolic protest” of the Congress party over so-called “police action” against Jamia Milia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim University students, being held at India Gate.

This protest which began at 4 PM is being led by Congress general secretary Priyanka Vadra. It was expected to take place for the next 2 hours.

Besides Tytler, also attending the protest were Congress protests were senior party leaders K C Venugopal, AK Antony, P L Punia and Ahmed Patel.

While speaking at the event Vadra claimed that the government has attacked the youth which is the soul of the nation. She also added that every Congress member will fight against this tyranny and stand for the students.
