All Of India’s Future Armed Conflicts Would Be Jointly Executed By Indian Army, Navy And Air Force

India’s future armed conflicts are expected to be jointly executed by the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force chiefs, reports United News of India.
A consensus on the same was achieved at the ongoing Indian Army Commanders Conference that is been attended by IAF Chief B S Dhanoa and Indian Navy Chief Sunil Lanba.
Comprehensively deliberating on all aspects of security dynamics, emerging security scenarios, enhancing operational capability over near and distant terms with a call for enhancement of combat edge over potential adversaries were considered the need of hour.
Also in the discussion during the talks were, combat readiness, tri-services synergy, military diplomacy, joint exercises et al. Mitigation of cyber threats, management and streamlining of communication and data security were also emphasised in the meantime.
Promotion of indigenous manufacturing through “Make In India” with an exhibition of emerging and future defence technological innovations was also held at the conference. A total of 53 domestic companies took part in the meet.
Indian Army emphasised its commitment to create a peaceful environment and have a holistic approach to deal with the threats such as terrorism.
2019 has been declared as year of “Next of Kin” to focus on the welfare of the families of the soldiers who made supreme sacrifice to the nation.
