In a roaring success for the eleventh edition of the DefExpo which was inaugurated by Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi in Lucknow a few days ago, the massive exhibition has led to signing of 23 MoUs worth over Rs 50,000 crore with the Government of Uttar Pradesh (UP) alone, reports Financial Express.

Apart from the list of MoUs having been signed to turn the state of UP into a powerhouse in the domain of domestic defence and related production, the DefExpo 2020 witnessed signing of overall 71 MoUs, as many as 13 product launches, 18 transfer of technology and six major announcements which along with the MoUs signed took the total number of agreements undertaken to more than 200.
