A software tool that analyses and assesses student performance and to help CBSE students of class XI and XII was launched for students of government schools in Trichy, reports The Times of India.
The application, called ‘Tutor 365’, will help students identify their weak spots not only in subjects but also on specific chapters, says the developer of the software, Ebek.
The tool will be equipped with more than 40,000 questions covering both the State and CBSE syllabus, and is also designed to aid preparations for competitive examinations as well.
The focus of the tool is on building knowledge rather than preparing for competitive examinations. A proper analysis is required for students to know their weak and strong areas, TOI quoted Chairman of Ebek languages Laboratory G Sreekantan as saying.
Specific cloud-based tests on each chapter could come in handy for students as well as parents. The tool would provide a complete graphical analysis for students to identify what went wrong in the examinations and guide them throughout their preparation phase. This could save a considerable amount of time so that students can focus more efficiently.
The current model charges a nominal rate for private schools, whereas, for government schools, the service is free of cost.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
