Canadian MP Bob Saroya Releases Statement On 31st Anniversary Of Genocide and Ethnic Cleansing Of Kashmiri Hindus

Bob Saroya, Conservative Member of Parliament from Markham—Unionville, Ontario, Canada today released a statement on the 31st anniversary of the attack on Hindu population in Kashmir.
Saroya said that the members of the community faced “gruesome genocide and ethnic cleansing” in January 1990 at the hands of cross-border Islamic militants. He condemned the desecration of ancient Hindu temples in the Valley.

The MP expressed his condolences and asked the international community to take measures to prevent similar types of crimes against humanity.
Saroya also stated that he supports the Government of India’s plans to help Kashmiri Hindus to return safely back to their homes.
