ICAI Building (image via Facebook)The Institute of Chartered Accountancy of India (ICAI) has extended the last date for Chartered Accountancy (CA) students to switch over from Common Proficiency Course (CPC) to the Foundation Course to 7 September.
As per a notification issued by ICAI on its official website, the CA body acknowledged the hardships being faced by the students in converting to the foundation course and extended the last date from 16 August to 7 September. This notification pertains to the Foundation Exam which will be held in November.
In order to convert from CPC to foundation course the students need to visit the self service portal on ICAI’s official website. Any student who has passed the 12th standard is eligible to appear for this test.
ICAI has also extended the last date for students to move to a revised scheme to appear in the Intermediate Exam scheduled to be held in November. In this case, the last date has been extended from 27 August to 7 September.
