A complaint has been filed against one Amit Mishra for sharing fake image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and maliciously defaming the PM, Armed forces and Veer Savarkar.
In his twitter profile, Amit Mishra claims to be a Social Media Strategist for Aam Aadmi Party.
It should be noted that AAP leader Mishra on Saturday (20 June) shared an image on twitter which showed PM Modi bowing down to Chinese President Xi Jinping claiming that PM Modi has surrendered to the Chinese. He tweeted (as translated from Hindi), “one bowed down in front of the English, other in front of China...”
However as per OpIndia fact-check, Mishra had morphed two different images and posted on social media to belittle PM Modi against Chinese President XI Jinping.
The complainant, BJP leader Suresh Nakhua, alleged that the morphed images by Mishra highlights the sacrifices of Indian Armed Forces in bad intent. In his complaint, he further adds that the post also hurts the sentiments of followers of Veer Savarkar.
He also alleged that the morphed images shows India in bad light and is liable for treason and origin of false alarms.

The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
