Concerns regarding laxity in the security of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath amid his work to fight Covid-19 have come up.

Jagran has reported that among the people who had visited the CM's Lokbhavan office in Lucknow to hand over a cheque for the Covid fund, was a man who had been in quarantine. The group had visited CM's office on 30 April.

The man is said to have come in contact with a Covid-19 positive person. This had led to his quarantining. He is from Unnao. The report adds that the matter came to light after an audio went viral. The man had introduced himself as a reporter from a news channel.

The report says that CMO Dr Ashutush Kumar has informed that the relatives of the man from Unnao have tested negative. They will be tested again. People who accompanied the man to the CM office will be quarantined and tested for the virus and a report will be sent to the state administration.
