Coronavirus Latest: With 2,553 Cases In Past 24 Hours, Total Tally Reaches 42,533; Here’s The Updated State-Wise Data

The total number of people confirmed positive for the coronavirus in India has increased to 42,553 while 1,373 deaths were reported across the country, as per the latest data updated at 8 am today (4 May) by the Health Ministry.

According to the Health Ministry data, the confirmed cases of Covid-19 include 42,442 Indians and 111 foreign nationals. India has reported 2,553 Covid-19 positive cases in the past 24 hours.

Additionally, the total number of discharged/cured patients has risen to 11,706, while one patient has reportedly migrated to Singapore as per the latest data.

The total number of active cases across the country stands at 29,453 at the time of writing this report.
