Coronavirus Update: Covid-19 Cases In India Mount To 33,050; Here’s The Latest State-Wise Breakup

The total number of people confirmed positive for the coronavirus in India has increased to 33,050 while 1,074 deaths were reported across the country, as per the latest data updated at 8 am today (30 April) by the Health Ministry.
According to the Health Ministry data, the confirmed cases of Covid-19 include 32,939 Indians and 111 foreign nationals.
Additionally, the total number of discharged/cured patients has risen to 8, 325, while one patient has reportedly migrated to Singapore as per the latest data.
The total number of active cases across the country stands at 23,651 at the time of writing this report.
Here’s the latest state-wise breakup:
With 9,915 Covid-19 positive cases and 432 deaths, Maharashtra is the worst affected state in the country. Gujarat has the second-highest number of Covid-19 cases in the country with 4,082 infections. Delhi has 3,439 cases, followed by Madhya Pradesh’s 2,561.
