The total number of people confirmed positive for the coronavirus in India has increased to 390, as per the latest data updated at 9 am today (23 March) by the Health Ministry.
According to the Health Ministry data, the confirmed cases of Covid-19 include 349 Indian and 41 foreign nationals.
Additionally, the total number of discharged/cured patients have risen to 23, while one patient has reportedly migrated to Singapore as per the latest data.
Total number of deaths due to COVID-19 in India rose to seven, after a 69-year-old man passed away in Gujarat’s Surat on Sunday (22 March). A total of 3 deaths were reported from around the country on Sunday.
The total number of active cases across the country stand at 359 at the time of writing this report.
