Crowd Violates Lockdown To Gather Inside Mosque To Offer Namaz In MP’s Chhindwara

A crowd gathered inside a mosque near Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh while violating the nationwide lockdown which prohibits religious gatherings, Indian Express has reported.
The incident happened at the Kharikhurd village on Chhindwara-Seoni Road where around 40 people entered a mosque at around 7 PM yesterday (10 April).
The cops soon swung into action and booked the violators after entering the mosque. The accused were booked under various sections of the IPC and subsequently released on bail. After apologising for the incident, the claimed that they had gathered due to the festivities on Shab-E-Baraat.
