A Delhi girl on Monday (16 September) was caught on camera threatening to commit suicide as the cops asked her to pay the fine for violating traffic rules, Times Now tweeted a video.
The incident turned into a big drama scene after the girl was stopped by the Delhi traffic police for a broken number plate of her scooter. The girl can also be seen misbehaving with the cops threatening to hit them with her helmet. She later threw her helmet on the ground and continued yelling on the cops.
She also denied having any documents related to the two-wheeler she was riding and said she would call her mother if the cops did not let her go.
The traffic police authorities in the capital city have been trying to strictly implement traffic rules under the new Motors Vehicle Act passed by the centre. As recently admitted by the Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot road safety has been a major concern in the city.
