US President Donal Trump is believed to have asserted that he will not go down as merely a one-time president during a Christmas party at the White House on Tuesday, AFP reports.
“It's been an amazing four years. We are trying to do another four years. Otherwise, I'll see you in four years,” the 74-year-old reportedly told his guests in the event.
NBC News has in fact reported that the real estate tycoon has held discussions with his trusted aides over launching his campaign for the 2024 polls on 20 January, the day Biden is set to be inaugurated as the president.
Yet, Trump’s statement is particularly significant given that his associates like Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell are still making assertions of a possible fraud in the 2020 elections.
Giuliani recently appeared in front of the state legislature of Michigan to put forth his professions of irregularities whereas Powell spoke to a rally of supporters in Georgia and claimed that their votes weren’t counted.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
