Following Priest’s Outburst, TTD To Issue Show cause Notice

Following the allegations of diversion of funds from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) by head priest A V Ramana Dikshitulu, the TTD board said that a show cause notice would be issued.
TTD Chief Executive Anil Kumar Singhal said that the TTD board had decided to seek an explanation from Dikshitulu on the matter. TTD chairman Putta Sudhakara Yadav has said that the board had taken the decision retire all priests who were older than 65.
Dikshitulu has said that he and three others would approach the judiciary if the decision affected their services.
On Tuesday (15 May), Dikshitulu held a press conference where alleged that the administration lacked commitment,and that he suspected that the temple funds could have been diverted and some valuable ancient jewels misappropriated.
