“For A Glorious Temple That Is Dream Of All Indians”: BJP MP Gautam Gambhir Donates Rs 1 Crore For Ayodhya Ram Mandir

Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Gautam Gambhir has donated Rs one crore for Ram Temple construction in Ayodhya, reports Livemint.

He said that the donation was made by him and his family for a "glorious" temple in Ayodhya that is the dream of all Indians.

General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Champat Rai said that close to Rs 100 crore have been for the noble cause.

“The data has not reached to the headquarters till now but we have got a report from our karyakartas, that they have received a donation for around Rs 100 crores for this noble cause," Rai was quoted as saying by NDTV.

The donation drive was started with the donation by President Ram Nath Kovind. Congress leader Digvijaya Singh on Monday donated Rs 1,11,111 for the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Previously, Manish Mundra, Gurmeet Chaudhary, Pranita Subhash have also made donations to the temple trust.
