Former Delhi Minister And Disqualified AAP MLA Kapil Mishra, AAP’s Women Wing Chief Join BJP in Delhi

Having been disqualified from the Delhi Assembly by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) speaker Ram Niwas Goel, former AAP MLA Kapil Mishra on Saturday (17 August) joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), reports News18.
Joining Mishra, AAP's Women's Wing chief Richa Pandey also left the party and joined the BJP in the presence of Delhi BJP chief, Manoj Tiwari and BJP's national vice-president, Shyam Jaju.
Meanwhile, Mishra has already filed a plea before the Delhi High Court challenging his disqualification by Speaker Goel. He had been disqualified by Goel for having campaigned in the support of the BJP in the 17th Lok Sabha elections.
It should be noted that Mishra was earlier a Minister in Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal led Delhi Government. Kejriwal had ousted Mishra from the ministerial post in May 2017 post which Mishra began to be seen with various BJP leaders at sundry public events from time to time.
