The 'Remove China Apps' android smartphone application which had gone viral in India lately has been taken down from the Google Play Store, even though the technology giant has provided no reasoning for its action against the application, reports Indian Express.
The development was personally announced by the developer of the application, Jaipur based OneTouchAppLabs which took to Twitter to share the development.

The application acted as a one stop solution to track and remove all the applications from one's smartphone which had been developed in China. It scanned the user's smartphone and presented them with a list of all such applications, also giving them an option to uninstall them from their devices.
The application had gone on to be downloaded a million times across India, becoming the top free application on the entire Google Play Store yesterday (2 June) morning.
It should be noted that the removal of 'Remove China Apps' comes just hours after the application of Indian challenger to Chinese social media platform TikTok, 'Mitron' was taken down by United States (US) based Google.
