As the bitter war continues over the Rafale deal between the Centre and the Opposition parties, we can get a first glimpse of the French aircraft as it will be displayed at next year’s Aero India, reports Bangalore Mirror.
The aircraft will seek to enthrall the audience with its breathtaking looks and ability during the Aero India show scheduled to be held at the Air Force Station in Yelahanka between February 20 and 24.
However, the aircraft participating in the show will not be the same one manufactured by French aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation for the Indian Air Force as they will come to India only next year.
Air Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Training Command, said that aircraft manufactured for India will come to India by September next year. Dassault will manufacture 36 aircraft. Bhadauria said that the aircraft would directly join the IAF squadron upon arrival.
The five-day event will act as both a major trade exhibition for the aerospace and defense industries and a public air show. Besides global investors in the aerospace industry, the show will also see participation from government think tanks.
