Kejriwal Led Delhi Govt Imposes Night Curfew From Today, Citing Rising Covid Cases

The Arvind Kejriwal Delhi Government has imposed a 10 pm to 5 am night curfew with immediate effect from Tuesday (6 April) reported ANI.
The decision comes amid rising Covid-19 cases in the National Capital. An e-pass will be necessary for the person(s) who want to commute.
The e-pass can be obtained from Delhi government website www.delhi.gov.in and can be carried in soft/hard copy.
People going to get vaccinated, ration shop, medical store owners, fruit and vegetables sellers will be required to carry an e-pass.
Travellers going to the railway station, airports, bus station carrying a valid ticket, patients going to get treatment, pregnant women will be exempted.
Public transport will be allowed for only those people who are exempt from night curfew.
Departments engaged in essential services are exempted.
There shall be no restrictions on the inter-state or intra-state movement of goods, and no pass will be required.
Delhi reported 3,548 new Covid-19 cases and 15 deaths on Monday (5 April), taking the total active cases up to 14,589.
