Kerala: Third Coronavirus Case Confirmed In Kasaragod; Patient A Medical Student In China’s Wuhan

A third confirmed case of Coronavirus infection has been reported from Kerala, this time from the Kasaragod district.
As per media reports, the patient is said to be a medical student in Wuhan University who recently returned back to India. The patient has now been shifted to an isolation ward in Kanhangad district hospital, Kerala’s Health Minister KK Shylaja informed the state assembly.
The first two cases were reported from the Thrissur and Alapuza districts. A total of 104 samples have been tested till now.
The government-owned Air India has been carrying out evacuation missions to bring back Indian citizens from the affected areas in China. In the second such flight, Air India brought back 323 Indian citizens from the Chinese city of Wuhan.
The Air India flight not only brought back Indian citizens, but also six Maldivian nationals. The evacuation flight took six hours to bring back the Indians and Maldivians from Wuhan to New Delhi.
