The Hindu refugees from Pakistan are facing terrible hardships, not to mention government apathy. Every little helps.
Let's welcome them home. Their home. #CAB2019 pic.twitter.com/aKPjMh3EA4
Ranganathan while urging people to donate to Hindu refugees stressed upon the need to help improve their living conditions as India takes a major step forward in making them citizens.
The link shared by Ranganathan redirects to a fundraiser for Pakistani-Hindu refugees hosted by Humanitarian Aid International, wherein one can donate a custom amount.
It was recently reported that while the Pakistani-Hindu refugees are a lot safer and avoid religious persecution in India, they have to battle poverty, dilapidated living conditions and lack of access to clean drinking water or proper sanitation.
