Commenting on government formation talks in Maharashtra, veteran Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan stated that there existed complete unanimity between his party and its ally NCP regarding the same, reports News18.

"After the discussions are completed and agreed on all points, the media will be briefed on the architecture of the alliance," he said, adding that the Shiv sena has been kept in loop on all discussions,” he said.

He also revealed that there would be a meeting between their side and the Shiv Sena tomorrow (22 November), and any announcement regarding government formation could only be given after the said meeting was over.

Earlier in the day it was reported the Congress Working Committee (CWC) had given its go-ahead for the formation of a coalition government with the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra.
