Move Aside DTH And Cable Operators: Reliance Jio Starts Offering 621 Channels, More Than Anyone Else

Reliance Jio TV is now offering 621 channels to its customers, Television Post has reported. The variety offered by Reliance is more than any other Direct-To-Home (DTH) platform or cable TV service.
Jio TV offers a total of 621 channels, out of which news and entertainment channels occupy the major chunk (193 and 122 channels respectively). Devotional and educational genre channels are in the third and fourth spot with 50 and 49 channels each respectively. Reliance Jio TV also offers 35 infotainment, 27 kids, 10 lifestyle and eight business news channels.
The platform offers content in various languages including Hindi , English, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi, Assamese, Odia, Bhojpuri, Urdu, French and Nepali. Highest number of HD channels are offered in English (46) and Hindi (32).
Jio TV is available on Google Play Store. It has 100+ million downloads with Reliance Jio customers availing it free of cost. Jio has signed agreements with major broadcasters in India like Star India, Sony Pictures Networks India, Sun TV Network. All channels belonging to these networks are available on Jio TV.
