Niti Aayog is organizing India’s first global mobility summit, MOVE at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi over the course of the next few days. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to inaugurate the event where the focus would be on raising awareness of different aspects of mobility while also providing a platform for various stakeholders to discuss ideas and solutions.

Niti Aayog Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Amitabh Kant believes that the Global Mobility Summit would provide solutions and ideas which would revolutionize the way Indians travel. It is also expected that solutions in the mobility space would contribute to ease of living in India while providing employment avenues for the country’s booming youth population.

It is being said that the Global Mobility Summit is the first of its kind which will see the participation of more than 2200 participants across government, industry, research organisations, think tanks, academia and civil society. The summit includes a Mobility Week and Digital Exhibition among other lined up events allowing for consultations across the board between all relevant stakeholders.
