Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray who recently became the Chief Minister of Maharashtra by joining hands with Congress and NCP, today (6 January) compared the JNU violence with the dastardly 26/11 terror attack in which 166 innocents died.
While speaking to the media, Uddhav claimed that the JNU violence reminded him of the 26/11 terror attack in Mumbai.

“What was the need for attackers to wear masks? They were cowards. I was watching on TV and it reminded me of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. I will not tolerate such attacks in Maharashtra”, Uddhav was quoted as saying.
This remarked was slammed by various social media users who called it an insult to martyrs like Tukaram Omble who laid down their lives fighting the terrorists.
This not only exposes the spinelessness of UT, but it is an insult to the victims of 26/11 and martyrs like Tukaram Omble who sacrificed his life to capture Kasab alive, so that the perpetrators & masterminds of the attack could be exposed. Shame on you, @OfficeofUT!! https://t.co/ZZi4OwPMQM
