The Nihang Sikh, who has surrendered before the police taking responsibility for the barbaric murder of a man at Singhu border on suspicion of insulting a religious book, appeared before the media briefly.
Sarabjeet Singh said he had no regrets for his act and even threatened the same vigilante justice to anybody who ‘dares to do a crime like sacrilege again’.
On Friday morning, the body of a man was found hanging from a metal frame at the farmer protest site at Singhu border between New Delhi and Haryana.
A hand and foot had been severed from the body. To add to the horror, the parts were tied on the same metal frame as a warning.
While offering himself in police custody, Singh and his group chanted ‘Jo Bole So Nihal’. Watch his video here.
