Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) that handles the catering, tourism and online ticketing operations of the Indian Railways has started a first of its kind facility 'Fresh Up,' at the Kachiguda Railway Station, in a bid to provide passengers with a quality retiring room, reports Zeebiz.
'Fresh Up' is a short-stay retiring room facility by IRCTC that works on hourly basis payment. Fresh Up, founded by a group of innovative entrepreneurs as a concept hotel that offers facilities to freshen up, had a tie-up with IRCTC in bringing up the same experience at railway stations. The initiative is 'pay as you use' concept, offering customers a unique experience with a luxurious air-conditioned stay on flexible packages which managed by the IRCTC.
Built in the Indo-Saracenic style, the Kachiguda Railway Station is one of the most prominent rail hubs along with the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad that connects Hyderabad to the rest of the country.
The facility, which includes Chaise Lounge, Bunker Bed, Double Room and Bunker Room has charges starting from Rs 149 per hour and goes up to Rs 3,199. The passengers will get access to flexible luxury services like 24-hours check-in and check-out, pay-as-you-use stay facility with services like internet, luggage drop facility, coffee and many more on an hourly basis.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
