Odisha Reports 143 New Coronavirus Cases, State’s Covid-19 Tally Rises To 2,388

The Covid-19 tally in Odisha saw the addition of 143 more cases raising the total number of positive cases in the state to 2,388, said the health department on Wednesday (3 June).
As many as seven people have died in the state due to the Covid-19 so far.
With this, the active cases in the state stood at 1,054 while 1,325 persons have recovered so far.
Ganjam district has reported the highest 499 Covid-19 positive cases so far, followed by 290 infections in Jajpur, 178 in Balasore, 170 in Khurdha, 161 in Kendrapada, 126 in Cuttack, 123 in Bhadrak, 102 in Balangir, 96 in Puri, 86 in Jagatsinghpur, 69 in Sundargarh, 69 in Nayagarh, 60 in Nuapada, 44 in Gajapati, 35 in Mayurbhanj, 34 in Boudh, 33 in Deogarh,
Other districts that have reported 30 or less cases include Keonjhar (30), Angul (29), Sonepur (25), Kandhamal (22), Malkangiri (21), Kalahandi (21), Dhenkanal (21), Sambalpur (15), Baragarh (11), Koraput (8), Jharsuguda (7), Nawarangpur (2) and Rayagada (1).
