A massive hype has surrounded around the launch of the Reliance Jio GigaFiber as it is all set to dominate the wired broadband sector in the coming days, the Telecom Talk reports.

The latest service by Mukesh Ambani-led telecom is considered to take over the wired broadband sector, just like the operator took over the telecom market in India with the launch of Reliance Jio in 2016.

Under its new triple pay plan, Reliance Jio GigaFiber will bundle DTH, broadband and a landline connection under the same banner. Under this plan, Reliance Jio will offer the Home TV set up under which it is likely to provide 600 channels to the subscribers over the IPTV (Internet Protocol TV), unlike the regular DTH connections.

Along with this, an offer of 100 GB data will also be provided, depending on the broadband connection. Reports suggest that the service is likely to be priced at around Rs 600 per month.
