A bomb was hurled at a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) office in Kallachy near Nadapuram late on Thursday night. The office was attacked at 8.30 pm and at least three RSS workers have sustained injuries in the attack. The Sangh has blamed Communist Party of India (Marxist) workers for the gruesome attack.

Those injured in the attack are serious and have been rushed to the Government Medical College in Kozhikode. The local police, which has often been accused of working under the pressure of communist goons, says it is investigating the matter.

Condemning the attack, the organisation held Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan responsible for the violence, dubbing his cabinet as a “cabinet of killers”.

“The violent attacks are being done at the behest of the Chief Minister of Kerala. He is the initiator of the attacks. He is presiding a cabinet of killers. They are not innocents,” RSS ideologue Rakesh Sinha told ANI. Continuing his tirade against the Chief Minister, Sinha recalled the charges against him of murdering an RSS worker in 1960s.

A number of RSS and BJP workers have been murdered in different parts of Kerala by CPI (M) goons. On 6 January, a 50-year-old BJP worker died of burns in Thrissur district after goons from CPM set fire to his house. At least three other BJP workers have been murdered in Kannur, the constituency of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, in the last one month.

Meanwhile, a CPM office in Kerala’s Kozhikode district was set on fire by unknown attackers, The News Minute has reported.
