Election strategist Prashant Kishor’s Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) is likely to be the campaign advisor for the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) and the political party floated by Kamal Haasan, Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM), in the Tamil Nadu assembly polls scheduled for 2021, reports The Times of India.
“Kishor’s association with our party is yet to be announced formally. He has taken an advance from us and his team has started ground work across the state,” said an AIADMK official.
As for the MNM, the party is believed to have entered into an “exclusive mandate” with I-PAC, and an address by Kishor to the party’s district secretaries will take place in Chennai.
An I-PAC orientation session was also conducted by Kishor for his newly created team for Tamil Nadu.
In recent years, the I-PAC founder has become one of the most prominent names in the political campaign consultancy space, with his organisation being credited for playing a major role in ensuring a number of election victories for parties which contracted its services.
