In a stinging attack on the mobs rampaging against the citizenship amendment bill (CAB) in parts of the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi commented that “Those who are creating violence can be identified by their clothes itself”.

Prime Minister Modi was speaking at a rally in Jharkhand’s Dumka.

ANI also quoted Prime Minister Modi as saying that the Congress and its allies have been creating ruckus in parts of the country and doing arson as they are not getting their way.

He also alleged that Congress and its allies have been giving silent support to the anti-citizenship amendment bill protests. He added that this violence has convinced citizens that bringing in this bill has been a right decision on the government’s part.

Prime Minister Modi also informed that the citizenship amendment bill has been passed to give respect to the minorities which have fled persecution in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
