The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) which manages Lord Venkateswara's temple in Andhra Pradesh's Tirumala hills is looking to construct the deity's temple in the holy city of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh (UP), reports Hindustan Times.
Based in Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor district, TTD's board has decided to request Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for a piece of land for constructing a temple of Lord Venkateshwara.
The chairman of TTD's trust board, YV Subba Reddy also said, " Alternatively, we shall construct a Bhajan Mandiram (prayer hall) or amenities complex on behalf of the TTD."
Meanwhile, it should also be noted that TTD's board has already decided to build Lord Venkateswara's temples in Mumbai and Jammu. As per Reddy, the bhoomi pujan ceremony for both the temples will be performed shortly.
TTD's board has also passed a resolution towards the declaration of the cow as the national animal and has decided to write to the Government about the same.
