Union Budget 2022: FM Sitharaman Reaches Parliament, To Begin Budget Speech Shortly

Ahead of the tabling of the budget 2022, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has reached the Parliament.

The Finance Minister will table the budget, which will be in a digital paperless format, via a tablet in the Parliament.

PM Modi and other Cabinet ministers including Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh have also reached the Parliament for the pre-budget Cabinet meeting.

The budget will be tabled in the Parliament after the PM Modi-led Cabinet approves it.

It should be noted that this will be the fourth budget being tabled by Finance Minister Sitharaman.

The budget will reportedly be aimed at maintaining the world's fastest-growing economy tag for India.
