While being quizzed by India Today editor Rahul Kanwal, the man named Lakhan Singh appeared to have been a former BJP supporter who has now shifted his allegiance to Digvijaya Singh and the Congress.
During the interaction, the supporter said that he is slightly upset with Digvijaya Singh as his party the Congress lies too much and accused it of not fulfilling the loan waiver promise till date.
Digvijaya Singh though decided to immediately counter this allegation by bringing in the Modi promised Rs 15 lakh in bank account claim which has been busted as a lie as the then prime ministerial aspirant was only referring to the magnitude of the black money stashed abroad.
Similar comic scenes were witnessed at an earlier Digvijaya Singh rally in Bhopal when a youth invited on to the stage by the Congress leader began praising Prime Minister Modi for carrying out surgical strikes to eliminate terrorists. The youth was later honoured by the BJP for his courage.
