On Sunday (5 Janunary) evening members of the left led JNUSU including its president Aishee Ghosh alleged that they were brutally beaten by masked goons.
Soon, the issue became a big controversy and their supporters began blaming right-leaning groups for the attack.
Later in the evening the JNU administration shared a press release which led many to speculate that it was the leftist goons who first started the attack and targeted ABVP workers.
Now BJP leaders including senior MP Meenakshi Lekhi have shared videos and pictures of ABVP affiliated students suffering grave injuries in the attack by alleged leftist goons.
The IT head and conveyor of BJP Himachal, shared a video in which a ABVP worker can be seen purportedly being thrashed by leftist members.
Senior BJP leader Meenakshi Lekhi too tweeted pictures of injured ABVP workers and slammed the propagation of just one side of the story.
It was earlier reported that JNUSU president Aishee Ghosh who claimed she was beaten by masked goons, has been seen with masked individuals in a viral video.
