Pakistani students in Wuhan were seen calling for help and appealing for evacuation as stranded Indian evacuated its citizen on special Air India flight amid the deadly coronavirus outbreak, reports India Today.
Notably, earlier Pakistani government denied evacuation of stranded citizens, to show ‘solidarity’ with its all weather ally China.
In a video that has gone viral, a stranded Pakistani student can be heard saying, "Bangladeshis will also be evacuated later. Then it is us Pakistanis who are stranded here and our government says we won't evacuate you even if you die, get infected or are still alive. Shame on you Pakistan government, learn something from the Indians."

As per reports, around 800 Pakistanis students are studying in various universities in Wuhan.
Dr Zafar Mirza, special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health, said that Pakistan has decided not to evacuate its nationals from China in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organisation (WHO).
He reportedly added, "We believe that right now, it is in the interest of our loved ones in China (to stay there). It is in the largest interest of the region, world, country that we don't evacuate them now."
In a laudable move, the national carrier Air India's special flight operated to the Chinese city of Wuhan, the epicentre of the novel coronavirus outbreak, to evacuate Indians stranded there, landed at the Indira Gandhi International airport on Saturday (1 January).
