In a bid to teach a lesson to bike borne youths who were violating lockdown while not wearing either masks or helmets, a team of Tamil Nadu police in Tiruppur District caught hold of them and threw them inside an ambulance with a fake coronavirus patient.

The three youths who were going together on a single scooter were not aware that the person sitting inside was not a real coronavirus patient and a result were terrified.
The video shows them frantically attempting to escape from the ambulance while running hither-tither inside the vehicle. At one point in the video, one youth even tried to climb out of a window.
The cops eventually released the youths with a warning after giving them a good scare. The cops as a result urged the public to follow lockdown and social distancing norms during the lockdown.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
