Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has reportedly received death threats on the WhatsApp emergency dial number '112' of the Uttar Pradesh Police from an unknown person. In the message, received on the evening of 29 April, the person has warned that the UP CM has 'only four days left', reports Times Now.
Following the receiving of the message, the officials have been alerted and a complaint has been filed in Sushant Golf City police station. Efforts are also underway to trace the number from which the threat was received and a surveillance team has been deployed for the same.
The report further states that a team has been constituted to arrest the individual.
This is not the first time the UP CM has received death threats. In September, November, and December last year as well, calls were received threatening Yogi Adityanath.

The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
