The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won the Delhi Assembly elections and is set to return to power in the national capital after a gap of 27 years.
The party has won 48 seats in the 70-member Delhi Assembly while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which governed the city state for 10 years, was reduced to just 22 seats. Meanwhile, the Congress failed to secure even a seat for the third straight time.
With the sweeping victory, BJP's next major task is to handle the appointment of the new Chief Minister of Delhi.
The Narendra Modi-led party did not announce its CM candidate and instead focused on campaigning under the leadership of PM Modi.
Delhi BJP chief Sachdeva, when asked about the CM face on Saturday, stated that the decision will be made by the party's central leadership.
"Our party workers have worked hard. This victory will be the victory of our top leadership. We have contested the election based on the issues of Delhi - but Arvind Kejriwal tried to deviate from the issues," he said, India Today reported.
Despite the BJP's silence on its CM choice, here are some potential candidates that the party may consider for the leading role in the nation's capital.

Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma, a former Member of Parliament, has become a prominent face of BJP by defeating AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal from the New Delhi seat.

His experience and resilience makes him a key figure in the party’s leadership calculations.
