Congress released its sixth list of Lok Sabha candidates on Monday (25 March) with four names for Rajasthan and one for Tamil Nadu.
The Congress declared Ajmer and Rajsamand candidates, a day after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) did so. Congress' Ramchandra Choudhary will take on BJP's sitting MP Bhagirath Choudhary.
Congress has fielded Sudarshan Rawat against BJP's Mahima Vishweshwar Singh in Rajsamand, a seat vacated by Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari.
Prahlad Gunjal has been fielded against Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla in Kota and Dr Damodar Gurjar got a ticket from Bhilwara, where BJP has not declared its candidate yet.
In Tamil Nadu's Tirunelveli, Advocate C Robert Bruce has been fielded by Congress against BJP's Nainar Nagendran, the vice president of BJP's state unit.
Nagendran is the sitting BJP MLA of Tirunelveli. He had earlier represented this constituency twice earlier as an AIADMK MLA. Tamil Nadu is headed for elections on 19 April.
Yesterday, Congress released its fifth list with three candidates. The most notable was the replacement of Sunil Sharma for his association with Jaipur Dialogues by former minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas.

The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
