On Thursday (20 July), a Delhi Court reserved its decision on the bail application moved by Brij Bhushan Singh, former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president and BJP MLA, in the sexual harassment case filed by the women wrestlers.
Harjeet Singh, additional chief metropolitan magistrate of the Rouse Avenue court reserved the order on bail pleas filed by Singh and co-accused Vinod Tomar.
Assistant public prosecutor, Atul Srivastava stated that conditions may be imposed while granting bail to Singh, as he may influence witnesses.
On the other hand, Harsh Vohra said that if the court is inclined to grant bail, strict conditions can be imposed.
The court is to pronounce its order at 4pm.
Earlier, the court had granted interim bail, of two days, to Singh and the co-accused Tomar, during the pendency of the regular bail applications.
