Exit polls for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by India Today-Axis My India predict a strong performance for the Bharatiya Janata Party in Delhi, with an estimated six to seven seats.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress forged an alliance in Delhi to take on BJP. However, the AAP-Congress combine is projected to win zero to one seats.

Delhi, which sends seven members to the Lok Sabha, saw voting in the sixth phase of the election on 25 May.

The Axis My India exit poll also forecasts vote shares, with the BJP likely to receive 54 per cent, the AAP 25 per cent, and the Congress 19 per cent.

AAP had fielded its candidates on four seats while the remaining three seats were contested by the Congress.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, the BJP secured all seven seats in Delhi with almost 57 per cent of the vote. The AAP and Congress, fighting separately in the last Lok Sabha elections, secured 22.6 per cent and 19.2 per cent votes, respectively.

In the 2014 Parliamentary elections also, BJP had made a clean sweep in Delhi, winning all seven seats amid the Modi wave. The AAP and Congress failed to score even a single win in Delhi in the 2014 elections.
