As the trends in Haryana consolidate in favour of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), we should have a look at low-margin seats, given how the trend flipped from the early morning.

As per the current Election Commission of India (ECI) trends, the BJP is leading in 49 seats and the Congress in 35 seats, while four Independents are also leading.

Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), who contested in an alliance, are leading on one seat each.

Congress is leading with a margin of fewer than 2,000 votes in six assembly constituencies of Faridabad NIT, Hodal, Mahendragarh, Kharkhauda, Julana and Thanesar.

The BJP is also leading with a margin of fewer than 2,000 votes in six seats of Panchkula, Indri, Rai,, Narwana, Adampur and Kosli.

The notable names among these seats are wrestler Vinesh Phogat, contesting on Congress ticket in Julana, Haryana Congress president Udai Bhan contesting in Hodal and Bhavya Bishnoi in Adampur.
