Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday (21 May) said that the INDI alliance has been completely defeated with the conclusion of the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha polls on Monday (20 May).

Addressing an election rally in Bihar's East Champaran, PM Modi asserted that the outcome of the sixth and seventh phases of the elections is already clear based on the "enthusiasm and blessings" of those attending his rallies.

"Your enthusiasm and blessings indicate what is going to happen in the country during the sixth and seventh phases. Just yesterday, the voting for the first five phases was completed. In the first phase, the INDI Alliance was subdued, in the subsequent phases it was decimated, and in the fifth phase yesterday, the INDI alliance was completely defeated," PM Modi said.

Attacking the INDI Alliance, PM Modi said, "Those who consider themselves the overlords of the people will face such a resounding defeat from the public that the world will stand in awe".

"India of the 21st century cannot move forward with the sins of the INDI alliance. That is why in every election, the public is delivering a strong blow to parties like Congress and RJD. On 4 June, there will be the biggest strike against the intentions of the INDI alliance. This strike will be against corruption in the country, the politics of appeasement, the divisive 'tukde-tukde' gang, the dirty mentality that pits society against itself, the perverse mindset that insults Sanatan Dharma, and against criminals, mafias, and the lawlessness. This strike will also target the anti-women mentality," he said.
